Does your resume use the posting’s words?
Paste both and see which of the job’s key terms your resume already has, and which it doesn’t. It is a keyword check, not an AI: it runs in this page, and nothing you paste leaves your browser.
Paste both, and the results appear here as you type.
How it decides
- 1It picks the terms the posting leans on: words and two-word phrases it repeats, tool and product names, and in a short posting, its other content words. The first line is read as the job title and company, and skipped.
- 2It looks for each one in your resume, ignoring capitals, hyphens and common endings, so “escalation” counts for “escalations”.
- 3That is all. It does not read meaning, so “Postgres” will not count for “PostgreSQL”, and a term can be on your resume without the experience behind it.
