These terms cover your use of Land The One: the web app, the mobile apps and the browser extension. By using it, you agree to them.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for what happens under your account. Give us an email address you can receive mail at; we use it for confirmation, password resets and the notifications you turn on.

Your content

Your resume and everything else you put into Land The One stays yours. You give us permission to store it, process it and send it to our AI providers only to provide the service to you, as described in our privacy policy.

AI-written content

Tailored resumes, improvements and interview feedback are written by AI from what you provide. They can contain mistakes. Read everything before you send it: you are responsible for what you submit to an employer, including that it is accurate.

Credits and payments

• AI features use credits. Each feature’s cost is shown in the app and on our pricing page.
• Credits are charged only when a result is delivered. If a request fails, it costs nothing.
• Credit packs are one-time purchases, processed by Stripe. There is no subscription.
• Land The One is the seller of every credit pack bought through our Stripe checkout, whether from the web app, the mobile apps or the Chrome extension. Google and Apple are not the seller and are not parties to those purchases.
• If something went wrong with a purchase or a charge, email [email protected] and we will make it right.

Refunds

• If you have not used any credits from a pack, you can ask for a full refund of that pack within 14 days of buying it. Email [email protected] from the address on your account.
• Credits that have been spent are not refundable, because each one paid for a result that was delivered. Free credits have no cash value.
• Refunds go back to the original payment method, and the refunded credits are removed from your balance.
• Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, where offered, are refunded through Apple’s or Google’s own refund process.
• This does not limit any refund rights you have under the law where you live.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Land The One to misrepresent yourself to employers, to break the law, to attack or overload the service, or to access other people’s accounts or data. We may suspend accounts that do.

No guarantee of results

Land The One helps you present your experience well. It cannot guarantee interviews or job offers, and job postings found through search belong to the companies that posted them.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Land The One running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; if we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Land The One is provided as is, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it.

Ending your account

You can stop using Land The One at any time and delete your account from Settings in the app. That deletes your data and any unused credits immediately. If you cannot get into the app, email [email protected] and we will do it for you.
